DOROT S300 HyMod

Diaphragm-actuated, Rigid Seal, Flow-modulated Pressure Reducing Globe Valve

DOROT S300 HyMod, is a Diaphragm-actuated, Rigid Seal, Automatic Pilot-controlled, Flow-modulated Pressure Reducing Globe Valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve reduces upstream pressure to a downstream pressure that simultaneously increases or decreases with flow demand. Pressure to the flow zone is continually adjusted according to actual demand, thus compensating for system loss. The pressure flow profile can be adjusted. The HyMod controls all stages: from no-flow to maximal, fully open flow, without chatter or slam.

Features & Benefits

Superior seat design, guided by the unique LTP (Linear Throttling Plug)
  • Enables regulation to ‘near-zero’ flow as standard for all valve sizes
  • Provides high reliability and operational stability
Stainless Steel control port sleeves
  • Protects against corrosion and blockage, reducing time and cost on maintenance
Self-cleaning inline filter
  • Cuts down on frequency of inspections and maintenance, significantly reducing labor costs
Low cavitation index
  • Eliminates conditions leading to cavitation over a wide operating pressure range
No dynamic O-rings
  • Superior design reduces ongoing maintenance due to leakage or breakdowns
Safety air release
  • Easily removes air from the control valve chamber, to ensure stability and optimal system performance
