DOROT 68-410, is a Diaphragm-actuated, 2-way Spring-loaded, Pressure-reducing, Metal Pilot Valve, that modulates to keep a steady, preset downstream pressure.
Operation principle
As downstream pressure falls below the preset point, the pilot opens a water passage between "IN" and "OUT" ports. This allows water in the main valve control chamber to vent to the downstream and open the main valve. As downstream pressure rises above the preset point, the pilot throttles the internal passage; restricting flow out of the main valve control chamber, enabling the valve to maintain position or close (if necessary).
