At Aquestia, we believe in empowering women and creating equal opportunities for all. To mark International Women’s Day 2025, we held inspiring activities across our company sites, including a visit to an organization that supports young girls and women dealing with trauma and promotes gender equality.
Throughout the day, we hosted various lectures and discussions for the women of Aquestia, providing valuable insights and inspiration. One of the highlights was an engaging talk by Maya Toledo, a social and business entrepreneur and founder of a female leadership program.
Maya shared her personal journey of founding a girls’ soccer team in response to her daughter’s dream of playing the game, showing how female-led innovation drives success in business, society, and leadership.
Following her talk, we engaged in a meaningful discussion, encouraging each participant to reflect on what field she wants to step into and who among us can help her achieve it.
