USA brand OCV Control Valves has been a leader in hydraulically-operated, diaphragm-actuated control valves for over seven decades, specializing in fire safety and fueling. Found worldwide, OCV valves manage liquids like acids, raw water, and hydrocarbons in extreme environments such as mining, high-pressure systems, airports and desalination, ensuring reliable protection in high-risk conditions.
Over 70 years ago, Tex Radford founded OCV Control Valves in Tulsa, Oklahoma, expanding his machine shop to build valves for the fueling industry. The first OCV valve, designed for aviation fueling stations, set the standard for quality and reliability.
In 1941, the founders of Kibbutz Dorot identified a need for irrigation valves to support agriculture but lacked funds to buy them. They sold a truck to finance the purchase of essential equipment that allowed them to produce their own 2-inch valves in a small shed. By 1946, they had built the first DOROT factory building.

Through a strong sense of responsibility for the preservation of resources and the wider world of water, we began to share our professional knowledge about water management, acquired over decades, with colleagues in the industry. This, combined with our customer-driven approach, has led us to establish what is now known as Aquestia University, hosting webinars, training and large seminars in various related fields.

At Aquestia, we started out by developing basic air valves and control valves. Listening and responding to the real-life challenges of our customers in the field, our dedicated development team went on to create a broad range of products – obtaining over 30 patents in the process – that provide relevant, effective solutions including our state-of-the-art Smart It Up hydraulic solutions, which are taking the global water industry into a new era.
