Aquestia's BIM Files for Revit

Aquestia’s parametric 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) files empower water utilities and engineers to create accurate 3D models of infrastructure, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and enabling data-driven decisions.

Designed for use with Autodesk Revit and compatible software, our BIM files provide essential product data – including selectable diameters, end-connections, brochures, IOMs, and more – to engineers and designers who are incorporating hydraulic and air valves into their projects, ensuring seamless integration into your designs.

From streamlining design and construction, to enabling real-time management through digital twins, our BIM tools are transforming the water industry with precision and innovation.

Some of the special features we have introduced into our files:

  • Control trim and service clearances to protect against costly real-world design errors.
  • Lightweight files for easy manipulation of the valves in your plan.
  • High-quality (LOD 350) 3D and 2D representations of the valves.

Customer Perspective

quote

Since discovering Aquestia's Revit BIM models, my workflow has been transformed!

As a water and wastewater designer with a decade of experience, I used to rely on separate 3D files for each valve and diameter, which made my files unwieldy and cumbersome. Since discovering Aquestia’s Revit BIM models, my workflow has been transformed. These models are parametric, containing all relevant valve sizes within each file and allowing me to easily select control functions and create schedules. Furthermore, the models are lightweight, automatically resized to match the pipe’s diameter and orienting themselves in the direction of flow. For me, the standout feature is the ‘service clearance’ function, which shows me the necessary space required to ensure practical access for field service personnel.
