DOROT CXPS

DOROT CXPS, is a 2-way, Diaphragm-actuated, Spring-loaded, Pressure Sustaining Pilot Valve, designed to control hydraulically actuated valves. The pilot valve modulates to keep a steady, preset pressure upstream of the main valve.
Operation principle
As upstream pressure rises above the adjusted value, the pilot opens to allow water flow between "COM" and "OUT" ports. This allows water in the main valve chamber to be vented downstream; causing the main valve to open. As upstream pressure falls below the preset value, the pilot throttles the internal passage, restricting flow out from the main valve control chamber; restricting valve opening, or causing closure if necessary.
